The library is full of books. Full of ideas. Full of people.
Just met a person at my local library who has a very interesting job working with animals. After talking, was given permission to contact her for an interview for possible magazine article. With photos!
Where did your last surprise story/article idea come from?
My publisher gave me an idea for a sequel to my picture book The Pea in Peanut Butter and that's all I needed. I rolled up the story in no time at all! Never thought I could write on command but I surprisingly proved myself wrong!

ReplyDeleteI think I would have to say that the majority of my ideas come from my kids. Good thing I write for kids!
ReplyDeleteThanks, KatieC. All my kids are grown, but I get to meet and work with a lot of kids in our magic shop. It is fun listening to their ideas on how the tricks work.
